Construction work overview:
After the client sign of the schematic plan, the design development phase will start and will address the following tasks:
Demolition task and will be expressed in demolition plans and demolition notes.
New construction task and will be expressed in the following drawings;
Floor plan with detailed cabinets and finishes.
Equipment and power plan which can be combined with the floor plan.
Ceiling plan if required.
Detailed interior elevations for the new areas.
On the following posts we will address each task on more details.
Flooring, the extent of demolished floor and the new flooring.
Walls to remain, demolished or new one.
Cabinets and counter tops to remain, demolished and the new one.
New cabinet types.
Ceiling, if there is new renovation on the ceiling.
Soffits to remain, demolish or new one.
Equipment to remain, removed or added ones.
Baseboards to remain or removed.
Toe-kick heaters to remain, removed or added new ones
Electrical Outlets to remain, removed or added new ones.
Lighting fixtures to remain, removed or add new ones
Moldings to remain, removed or added new one.
Painting, paint existing and new walls and ceilings a drawing soffit
Doors to remain and if there will be cutting existing doors
Window and window trims, to remain or removed or added new ones
Wall tiling, existing and new tiles
Floor Transition as a result of new flooring
Pet Station, as requested.
